New year, year ideas . . .
So after using padlet, quite extensively with my wonderful Year 3/4 classes, today we trialled the use of pasting sentences from our padlet wall into Titan pad web page (to up-level the writing).
The beauty of Titan pad is that each child has their own colour attributed to their writing, therefore tracking and spotting who writes what is relatively simple (there is also a handy key down the right hand side!).
How did we do, what we did?
Using a QR code to link to a Padlet wall, the children wrote (Alan Peat’s) -ing, -ed sentences based on a series of 4 pictures of the day from (Lend me your literacy). Then opening a shared Titan Pad web page, using QR code number 2, the children copied and pasted a sentence that they had chosen to ‘up-level’. This was then displayed using a projector for all to see during the plenary.
